Scientists have discovered that humans create an invisible aura around our bodies that could actually be cleaning the air we breathe, MSN reports.
A new study shows for the first time that an invisible haze of air cleansing molecules surrounds the human body when ozone in the air reacts with oil produced by our skin.
Molecules called OH radicals are what make up the aura, and they seem to neutralize toxic molecules when mixed with outside sunlight. Scientists have nicknamed them the, "detergents of the atmosphere."
Scientists aren’t 100% sure if the molecules are really a force for good or bad because the impact of the aura is still somewhat a mystery.
