A small Austrian town named Fuc*ing has decided to finally get rid of their name mostly due to the fact that people kept stealing their town signs.
Mayor Andrea Holzner told the media that the name will be changing to Fugging starting January 1st, 2021.
The small northern Austria community only has a population of around 100 people, and they have been trying to get the towns named changed for years.
The people have been getting frustrated since the town has essentially gone viral, leading to many visitors taking photographs with signs, and some of those same signs being stolen.
The community has been known as Fu**ing for roughly 1,000 years. Why was it named that in the first place? Well, Fu**ing doesn't have any meaning in the German language.
