A woman in Washington no longer wants to eat fast food after discovering an old McDonald’s hamburger looks exactly as it did five years ago, Vancouver Sun reports.

Megan Condry, 41, bought a couple burgers from McDonald’s in 2017, but could only eat one of them. She decided to keep the other one for an experiment when she discovered it had not rotted after 5 days.

Three weeks ago Condry re-discovered her old science project that had been sitting in her closet for five years. She reports that the burger was rock hard, could crumble, did not smell, and did not shrink.

This whole ordeal brought into question how many preservatives a McDonald’s burger must contain to keep it in that condition. Condry decided to wrap it back up and keep it tucked away for another five years.
