If you do follow celebrity gossip and pop culture news then you already know about Cardi B having herself a moment with yet another early 2000s teen heartthrob, Mr. Edward Cullen himself — Robert Pattinson, but this time they actually met in person.
And as one should, she had herself a total fangirl freak out moment, which she obviously documented in a short clip that she shared on Twitter.
Taken at an exclusive Beverly Hills event honoring British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, the video starts off with Cardi fixing her hair and looking at the camera all cute before she says, “Come on. Look at my friend, guys,” panning over to Pattinson who meets her by walking into the frame while sticking his tongue out at the camera with a smile.
Of course this leads Cardi to squeal with excitement, which is pretty much the only viable reaction we can think of such a situation. Further proving our point, Cardi captioned the clip, "Look who I met the other day! I felt like a teen!" Check out the adorable moment below.
Well, safe to say Cardi is totally Team Edward… as we all should be (don’t @ us, it’s how we feel).
Also, as we briefly mentioned earlier, Pattinson is not the only actor Cardi has fangirled over recently. Last month, a beautiful friendship began between her and Penn Badgley after he complimented her "authentic relationship" with her social media platforms during a throwback clip taken at an event for season one of his Netflix series You. Since Cardi saw it and appropriately reacted by tweeting; “OOOOMMFFFGGGGGG HE KNOWS ME !!!OMMMGGGG!!!!!!Yoooo like I’m famous famous,” their newfound bond has resulted in pure internet Goldberg.
Yup, and in true Joe form, he didn’t just stop with light internet stalking, he took it next level. By finding Cardi’s address to send her a fawning yet ominous message, oh and of course some swag.
Wonder what Cardi will get from the Cullen clan…?
