Kanye West wants everyone to know that Kim Kardashian is “still” his wife.
In his first major interview since the release of his “Donda” album, the 44-year-old rapper spoke with N.O.R.E. & DJ EFN of the Drink Champs podcast.
He talked music, money, fashion, and family, but his comments addressing the ongoing divorce from the beauty mogul were the most buzzworthy.
Particularly, the comment that the “Yeezy” creator is confident that all hope is not lost.

Ye maintained that “she's still my wife,” adding that he has “never ever seen” the divorce papers.
While Kardashian filed for divorce in February, she has supported Kanye, who legally changed his name to Ye, during numerous events, including appearing in a wedding dress at his Donda 3.0 event.
Ye also took gripe with a joke the 41-year-old made during an opening monologue while making her hosting debut on “Saturday Night Live.”
He explained that the joke about their divorce was not authorized by him.
“You know, SNL making my wife say ‘I divorced him’ on TV cause they just wanted to get that bar off,” he said. “And I ain’t never even seen the papers. We not even divorced ... 'cause that ain’t no joke to me.”

He revealed that he hopes to rekindle his romance with the SKIMS founder, which he added is something his four children are also hoping for.
“My kids want they parents to stay together. … I want us to be together,” he said.
He subtly hinted at the fact that “the media” is standing in the way of him and Kardashian working things out.
“But if you look at the media, that’s not what they promoting. That’s not what they want. They want it to be a new wedding, a new episode, a new TV show,” he said.
Complicating things even further is Kardashian’s rumored romance with “SNL” comedian Pete Davidson.
After sharing a kiss during an “Aladdin”-themed skit, the pair was spotted holding hands at a theme park before going on several dates around town.

Sources are adamant that Davidson and Kardashian are “just friends,” while Buzzfeed quotes other sources claiming that Kanye asked Kim to “refrain” from showing PDA until the divorce is finalized.
Davdison has been previously linked to Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale, and Kaia Gerber.
Though Ye seems adamant that he and Kardashian will find their way back to each other, he was also previously linked to Bradley Cooper’s ex, Irina Shayk, earlier this year.
