There will be new restaurants and shops within the Disneyland Anaheim resort at some point in the future.

According to Deadline, Walt Disney Co. said the changes, including more attractions, will be in the existing park parameters. It is being called "The Disneyland Forward" plan.

"The builds will focus on underdeveloped existing areas of the resort near two Disney hotels west of the theme parks and in a parking lot east of the resort," Deadline reported.

No other specifics on costs have been made public as of right now. Disney officials said that they will bring the plans of detailed construction for approval to the Anaheim City Council by 2023, according to Yahoo.

Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will reopen, with modifications, on April 30.
