Joining host Princess Stormm today is the CEO of the raw, video-on-demand app Zeus Network, Lemuel Plummer, making his first visit to STL to give us a look behind-the-scenes at his DIY plan of launching his own subscription video platform in 2018.

“The idea,” for The Zeus Network, Lemuel tells us, “had been stirring up in my spirit, in my mind, and my heart for many years. I just felt like I had to do it, you know. Hollywood is an interesting place… I recognize that there weren't a lot of Black television network CEOs or owners and I just felt like it was something that I needed to do and I ended up doing it. I've invested my own money in the network, launched it… it was very difficult in the beginning.”
The Zeus Network offers original scripted and unscripted content, including exclusive multi-episode series' featuring prominent social media influencers including Destorm Power, King Bach, Amanda Cerny, and Joseline Hernandez, available on the Zeus app and website, as well as on Roku.
“We invested in a lot of new shows and, you know, a few of them they ended up hitting, and we just kept moving forward and creating, trying to create more authentic, uncensored, and premium content. That's how the network kind of started and how it evolved to where it is now.”
