During a phone call into Work and Play with Shae Bae Josh Halpern, the CEO of Big Chicken talked what can be expected out of the Shaquille O'Neal owned restaurant venture in St. Louis.
"We like to have big fun with our food which is evident by the 314 Sandwich that will debut at Busch Stadium," said Halpern.
Shaq created the Big Chicken restaurant chain with talented chefs before opening the first location in 2018.
Josh shared that St. Louis holds a special place in his relationship with the four-time NBA champion.
"Shaquille and I literally met when I was still at Anheuser-Busch, him and his agent Terry Rodgers came and visited me," he added the day they met they went to Busch Stadium to see the Cardinals play.
The Big Chicken menu in St. Louis will feature the exclusive 314 Sandwich where the 'bun' will be a bacon-maple glazed donut from Vincent Van Donuts and "a few different options for chicken sandwiches, fries" and even a big cookie.
Big Chicken, the St. Louis Cardinals, and Delaware North decided on two locations because "when people start seeing our food they get in line and lines get long."
Both of the St. Louis Big Chicken locations will open for Cardinal's Opening Day on March 3oth.
