Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's Relationship Over the Years

The two made their first public appearance together at Comic Con San Diego in 2010, when it was announced that they were starring in the "Green Lantern" movie. But they weren't there as a couple. At the time, Blake was still dating her "Gossip Girl" costar Penn Bagdley and Reynolds was still married to then-wife Scarlett Johansson.

Ryan Reynolds accepted the award for Most Anticipated Movie at Spike TV's "Scream" event in 2010. Blake, who also stars in the film, presented the award to him, and was excited for her costar.

Ryan and Blake looked great together on the red carpet for the June 2011 premiere of "Green Lantern." But they weren't together. Even though Reynolds and ScarJo announced their divorce in late 2010 and Blake and Badgley broke up that same year, Ryan and Blake were still just work wife and husband.

The cat was preeeeetty much out of the bag in October 2011, when photos revealed Lively leaving Reynold's apartment in Boston.

You know it's real when you and bae are on Met Gala status. By the time this picture of the two was taken at the ceremony in 2014, the couple officially came out as dating and had already been married for almost two years. In 2014, Blake gushed to Vogue about Ryan and their wedding, especially striking because of how tight-lipped the two had previously been about their relationship. "He’s going to be a great father and leader and patriarch—he’s so meant to be all of those things,” Blake told Vogue. “The fact that he lived so much before we got together, he’s the exact realized person that he should be. And so I get to share my life with the person he’s become, and we get to grow from there.”

First comes love, then comes marriage, then come the red carpet glamour shots of the baby bump. Blake got pregnant with the couple's first child in 2014. She showed off the baby bump in this stunning cream gown at Angel Ball, hosted by Gabrielle's Angel Foundation in October of that year.

Blake gave birth to their first child, daughter James, in January 2015. Later that year in May, Reynolds shared the first picture of the baby with this adorable shot of her hand, joking that they're thumb wrestling and, "Curiously, my hand is the small one."

In case you doubted it before, Ryan Reynolds was a full-fledged superhero by the time this picture was taken in February 2016 at a fan event for his Marvel blockbuster "Deadpool."

You know you're making some serious Canadian bacon when you're invited to honor your native country's prime minister. Reynolds and Lively are seen arriving here for a special dinner at The White House with Justin Trudeau.

Just two months after Blake gave birth to their second daughter in October 2016, Ryan was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This adorable pic shows James wigging out with a mic while her parents kneel with her baby sister by dad's new shiny star.

The fam popped out to Disneyland in Anaheim in December 2016, because what else are you gonna do after you get the Walk of Fame star?

The two cleaned up nicely for the Golden Globes in January 2017.

Ryan was all hearts on Valentine's Day in 2018. He posted this photo on Instagram of the cake he baked for Blake.

Ryan and Blake looked stunning at the after party for the New York screening of the film "Final Portrait" in March 2018.

By May of 2019, Ryan and Blake really were trying to catch them all. Blake showed off baby bump number 3 in this Pika-appropriate yellow dress at the premiere of "Detective Pikachu."

Reynolds had some fun on wifey's birthday in August. He posted a series of shots of his by-any-standards beautiful wife in the not most flattering of photos.

Earlier this month, Lively gave birth to the couple's third daughter. Reynolds posted this picture of the couple in British Columbia, revealing the newborn (sort of) in this first public pic. "I want my daughters to experience the same natural playground I grew up in," Reynolds wrote, before imploring Canadians to vote in the country's October election to shape climate policy.
