“I thank God to have ‘The Talk’ and then have people come to the [Comedy] show,” Underwood said of the balance she finds with her daytime and nighttime personalities during an interview with Audacy's Tony Scott. “I even make fun of myself, after I’ve said so much sexual stuff, I’d say, ‘I know they lookin’ at they ticket like, are you sure this is a person on daytime TV everyday?’” She laughed.

While she’s relishing in the joys of both daytime television and comedy, she is readying to retire her time on The Talk as the show ends this December after 15 seasons — 13 of which Sheryl was present.

Saddened by closing one chapter, Underwood knows she has a lot to look forward to as she leans on her faith, talent and excitement of the unknown. “All the women who have sat at that table and the crew that we have now — I thank God for the ability to do something like this,” she shared of her time on the show. “I learned a lot about the industry… I think God was showing me, preparing me… because something bigger is on the way.”
