Speaking with Audacy’s Julia, the “Peaches” singer explained that especially when touring and recording he is very specific about his mental health needs.

“Touring can definitely be grueling,” says Justin. He explains that in order to maintain a balanced sense of mental health he prioritizes time with Hailey Bieber while also making sure he builds out time to “be off the grid.”

Bieber adds, “you just kind of learn how to say ‘no.’ There was this quote the other day that I heard, it was like, ‘don’t be resentful about something you said ‘yes’ to, just do it and then when you’re done, reassess your boundaries and don’t do it again,’ so I’m kind of trying to live by that.”
