Amazon drone delivery has finally entered North Texas and is now available for shoppers in Richardson.
Amazon said in a press release that this new service means Richardson residents can receive tens of thousands of items in as little as one hour.
According to WFAA, the drone deliveries will operate out of Amazon's fulfillment center in Richardson, and can deliver packages up to five pounds within a seven- to eight-mile radius of Amazon's facility at 3051 Research Dr. in Richardson.
Prime members can choose drone delivery for $4.99.
