There are few spots better in Dallas for a night of dancing than in the Design District.

One of the latest nightclub venues to open in the neighborhood once served a previous purpose as a grain silo.

Appropriately named Silo, the concrete dance hall is a retired and rehabbed grain silo built in 1959 by Delmo Johnson of the Johnson Grain Company, according to the Dallas Observer.

The club had its grand opening last Thursday and Friday.

Silo is located at 1340 Manufacturing St, Dallas, Texas 75207.
