Pokémon isn’t just for kids anymore, it’s a billion-dollar franchise that earns millions of dollars every day.

At a GameStop in Grapevine earlier this week, a customer brought in a Pokémon card that the store swiftly traded for, to the tune of $30,494.70.

The company says this was the “most valuable single trade-in ever recorded in GameStop history.”

The card, of the creature Gengar, was graded a perfect 10, meaning it’s in mint-condition, the crème de la crème of trading cards.
