AC/DC's Angus Young has had quite the impact on pop culture throughout the years. Not only did he influence a number of guitar players that came after him, but his schoolboy outfit gave rock and roll fans the perfect Halloween costume for years. Now, a previously unreleased interview with Angus' brother, Malcolm Young, reveals the reason Young started wearing the schoolboy outfit on stage.
The unearthed interview aired on Amazon Prime's 'Coda Collection' channel, which hosts music documentaries and concert films. According to Malcolm Young, the two brothers were originally in different bands, following their own music interests, but once the brothers got together; everything changed. "It just happened at one point when I was putting together a band. We were going to get a keyboard player, but I got Angus instead," said Malcolm Young.

Of course, in their early days the boys felt they needed something besides the music to attract audiences, and according to Loudwire, it was their sister who suggested the schoolboy outfit. "They thought a good act always had something people could relate to. My sister said, 'Why don't you get your school uniform with the shorts?'" Young said in the interview. After that, the rest was history.
