There are some songs that many believe are perfect and should not be remade in any way. For Hall & Oates fans; ‘Maneater’ may be one of those songs, but John Oates recently decided to give it a try anyways releasing a new version of the track. However, in this one Daryl Hall is replaced with a saxophone playing Sasquatch.

In the new version of ‘Maneater,’ the lyrics remain the same but are now accompanied by a revamped electro-pop sound. A video was released along with the song, showing Oates playing Saxsquatch, a musician that wears a Sasquatch costume while playing saxophone. “I've had a lot of otherworldly experiences in my career, but none as mystical and magical as this collab with the amazing, soulful Saxsquatch. He brings the funk out of the forest and puts a smile on the face of the world. Meeting him in the woods to shoot the video was a life-changing moment,” said Oates.

Luckily for Hall & Oates fans, Saxsquatch won’t be a full time replacement for Daryl Hall. Hall & Oates recently confirmed plans to tour in 2021, according to Ultimate Classic Rock. Maybe Saxsquatch will make a few guest appearances on the tour.
