A shopping center in southwest Fort Worth along the Chisholm Trail Parkway is already planning for a new Target and H-E-B, and now a fast-food giant is looking to join the mix.

A brand-new 3,800 square-foot, $1 million McDonald's is in the pre-development stages to join the shopping center, which will go up alongside already existing restaurants Chick-fil-A, Whataburger, Chili's, and Raising Cane's.

The McDonald's is right along McPherson Boulevard, and will be constructed just near a CosMc's, the new McDonald's retro-theme concept with sweet drinks and quick-bite snacks, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

If a Target is built on McPherson, it would be the first location for the store in southwest Fort Worth.

H-E-B purchased land at The Shops at Chisholm Trail Ranch in March 2023 but has been quiet about any plans. The grocery store has only said the land purchase is in "anticipation of (the company's) future needs."
