Like many other years, one of the biggest ways people will remember 2020 is for all the stars that were lost this year. From Eddie Van Halen to Kobe Bryant many lost someone they admired greatly in 2020. Now, an artist has gone viral for his re-imagined of The Beatles’ ‘Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band’ album cover, mourning all the great loses of 2020.

British artist Chris Barker recently shared his Sgt. Pepper’s album cover photo, and fans were quickly reminded of all that was lost in 2020. Some of the people depicted include’ Eddie Van Halen, Neil Peart, Kobe Bryant, Darth Vader, Little Richard and Diego Maradona. “Every time I do this montage it is an emotional journey. However detached I may get from the subject matter while I’m in the thick of the Photoshop, when I put the list together for the key at the end and look at it, it is a quite sobering moment,” said Barker.

Barker also included a chart showing where everyone is on the image. He asked that anyone moved by the image donate to and NHS charity. Hopefully there won’t be too many notable deaths in 2021 to create another photo.
