Horror movie fans from all over the country will be traveling to DFW later this month for one of the biggest scary movie conventions. After a two year hiatus, Texas Frightmare Weekend is set to return to the metroplex for their 16th celebration of all things horror. To make the return even more special, the event will feature plenty of star power; including a ‘Scream’ cast reunion.
Starting April 29, North Texas will be turned into one of the scariest places on Earth thanks to Texas Frightmare Weekend. The 3 day event will take place at Hyatt Regency DFW Airport and will give horror movie fans the chance to meet some of their favorite horror movie stars. This year, the event will feature a reunion of the cast of ‘Scream,’ with Neve Campbell, Skeet Ulrich, Matthew Lillard and Jamie Kennedy expected to attend.
Fans will also get to check out at least 14 screenings of the newest and biggest cult horror classics, according to Dallas Observer. “All of our attendees are passionate not just about horror movies but our event in specific, they bring such an energy to the event and they wouldn't let it just die,” said Texas Frightmare Weekend founder Loyd Cryer. Hopefully after two years away, they are ready to bring plenty of scares.
