It won’t be long before we consider the Lone Star State the culinary epicenter of the U.S.

A new report from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts found that by 2032, Texas will be leading the nation in “culinary job growth.”

According to CultureMap Dallas, the report compared all 50 states to determine their job prospects for chefs and head cooks, restaurant cooks, and food service managers based on three different metrics: projected growth rates from 2022-2032; "absolute job creation," which is the total number of projected new positions during that same 10-year span, and actual job growth rates from 2022-2024.

They found that the Texas culinary industry is expected to grow 24.88% by 2032, the highest projected growth rate nationwide.

The report states, “The top three states alone — Texas, California, and Florida — will add nearly 130,000 culinary jobs, almost 45 percent of all jobs created in this industry (despite those states making up about 28 percent of the nation’s population).

"This demonstrates an extraordinary scale of opportunity for job seekers willing to relocate to states with booming restaurant scenes."

The top 10 states with the fastest-growing culinary industry include:

1 – Texas
2 – California
3 – Georgia
4 – Florida
5 – Washington
6 – North Carolina
7 – Utah
8 – Arizona
9 – Nevada
10 – Alabama
