Just about every Texan has a go-to order whenever they eat at Whataburger. While some like to change it up, others always stick with their favorites. For many, that means getting up early, or waiting until after 11 P.M., to get a honey butter chicken biscuit. Well those people may be doing the unthinkable and changing up their order next time they hit the drive-thru, as Whataburger recently announced they are adding a spicy honey butter chicken biscuit to the menu.
Whataburger is no stranger to limited time menu items, but their latest may be their most anticipated addition yet. The new spicy honey butter chicken biscuit will consist of a crispy breaded chicken strip topped with spicy honey butter on a buttery and a flaky biscuit. "Adding a little spice to our famous honey butter balances the sweetness and creates an exciting new flavor. Our late night and breakfast customers are in for a treat," said Rich Scheffler, Whataburger senior vice president and chief marketing officer.
Along with the new spicy honey butter chicken biscuit, the chain will also be adding a Southern Bacon Double burger or chicken sandwich to the menu, according to Click2Houston. They will also be extending the stay of the popular Dr. Pepper shake. With these additions, that late night Whataburger line just got a little bit longer.
