Federal agents from a unit of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement office cracked down on vendors selling allegedly unauthorized sporting apparel outside of a recent Raiders game in Oakland.
The Homeland Security Investigations unit claims to have confiscated $11,000 in counterfeit merchandise from vendors during the Raiders' opening game of the 2019 season on September 9 against the Denver Broncos.
This unit does not oversee immigration violations.
Dozens of agents took part in the raid to round up unlicensed hats, jerseys and other gear.
