A San Francisco family is demanding justice for a six-year-old boy who was shot and killed the night of the Fourth of July.

Jason Young, the boy’s father, hunched over trying to catch his breath as he grasped the podium and said his six-year-old son Jace didn’t deserve to lose his life to gun violence.

“Stop killing each other,” he pleaded.

The boy was shot to death while watching fireworks in the Bayview District of San Francisco.

Mayor London Breed joined the family at a spot the young boy loved, the waterfront at the Chase Center, to demand change within Black communities.

“We know people know what happened,” he said.

Anyone with information of the incident can call San Francisco police at 415-575-4444.
