Three TSA screeners at Mineta San Jose International Airport are infected with coronavirus, officials said. 

The three Transportation Security Administration agents tested positive for COVID-19, the airport announced Tuesday night. 


All TSA coworkers — reportedly 40 people — who have come into contact with their three infected colleagues over the past two weeks have been told to stay home.

On Wednesday morning, the security checkpoint opened 30 minutes later than usual in Terminal B. 

The TSA has said it's working state and local officials. But the statement did not indicate whether they would locate travelers who had possibly been screened by the three workers.
