Curtiss is a Bay Area broadcast veteran in both radio and television with extensive experience as a general assignment reporter, anchor and correspondent.
He’s a graduate of San Francisco State University with a degree in Broadcast Communication Arts. Affiliations include NBC, CBS and CNN.
Curtiss sent 15 years as a radio reporter and correspondent for KNBR-AM, then owned by NBC. His television work includes almost 11 years at independent KFTY-TV in Santa Rosa as a live truck reporter and anchor. He has won multiple awards from the Associated Press and the Radio Television News Director Association for feature reporting and hard news coverage.
He is a founding member of the Bay Area Chapter of the Asian American Journalist Association.
As broadcast journalist, Curtiss remains dedicated to reporting on the people, places and events that make the region unique.
