Police in Hayward were involved in a shooting on Tuesday morning, the department said on Facebook.
Officials released few details about the incident other than that the shooting happened on Mission Boulevard and Valle Vista Avenue around 9 a.m.
Mission Boulevard between Valle Vista Avenue and Tennyson Road will be closed "for the next several hours," the police statement said.
Some residents and workers have not been allowed to enter or exit homes, offices and businesses in the area.
