From casual recreational leagues to pricey private coaching, youth sports play a big part in growing up. But how much is too much time, risk of injury and investment? Have we crossed a line trying to get young athletes across the finish line?

KCBS All News Radio is exploring the risks and rewards of youth sports all next week. Tune in for special coverage on air and online September 4 - 8, 2023. Find KCBS All News Radio at 106.9 FM, 740 AM and always streaming live on the free Audacy app. Follow KCBS on Audacy to get updates on breaking news, special town halls and more.

And, we invite you to join us for an important and impactful conversation on the topic of youth sports.  Our in-person Town Hall, “The State of Play,” is on Tuesday September 5, 2023 from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm at Saint Mary’s College of California, Soda Activity Center, 1928 St. Mary’s Road, Moraga CA.
