One person has died in a three-alarm fire that destroyed a San Jose home Sunday morning.

At around 10 a.m., the San Jose Fire Department received a call reporting that a fire was burning at a home on the 1000 block of Wilsham Drive.
Firefighters were able to contain the blaze shortly before noon, but not before the fire decimated part of the structure, leaving charred remnants and a dark cloud of smoke in the sky.
One person was found dead inside the home and a second was taken to a local hospital with burn injuries, fire officials reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
