BART police have found two more men dead on trains or in stations this week, both of whom are believed to have died of drug overdoses.
The BART Police Department on Thursday released daily logs revealing two men were found dead on Monday, one of whom was aboard a Berryessa-bound train held at Fremont station while another was found at the Daly City station. BART police previously said they found a dead man in Pleasant Hill aboard a train headed for the San Francisco International Airport on Tuesday.

At 10:10 a.m. on Monday, a man was found unresponsive at the Daly City station. The man wasn't breathing, and he was pronounced dead after medical personnel attempted life-saving measures.
Just shy of seven hours later, BART police found a man with no pulse on a Berryessa-bound train in Fremont. Officers performed chest compressions and administered two doses of NARCAN. Neither worked, nor did paramedics' life-saving measures, and the man was pronounced dead on the scene.
BART police found an unresponsive man at 8:49 p.m. on Tuesday, this time aboard an airport-bound train in Pleasant Hill. Neither dose of NARCAN administered worked, and paramedics pronounced the man dead.
Officers found yet another unresponsive man on a Richmond-bound train on Wednesday night in Berkeley, but he became responsive after receiving two doses of NARCAN. The man was then taken to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
Drug overdoses have skyrocketed in the Bay Area in recent years, especially in San Francisco. The San Francisco Chronicle, citing city data, reported on Thursday that over 450 people have died of overdoses in the city this year. In 2020, 712 people died of overdoses.
