A body found at a Marin County beach has been identified by his family as José Padilla, a San Francisco restaurant worker who was swept out to sea earlier this week.
Following a five day search, Padilla's remains were pulled from the water at Muir Beach Friday, Shauna Hinson, Padilla's fiancé, announced in a memorial post.

Padilla was fishing with his cousins Monday when a sneaker wave knocked him off a rock. "His cousin tried to save him but was unsuccessful," Hinson wrote.
Authorities were able to rescue Padilla's two cousins, transporting them safely to shore, but Padilla was not found.
Golden Gate National Park Service, Marin County Fire Department, Southern Marin Fire Department, Muir Beach Fire Department and the U.S. Coast Guard conducted an intensive search using boats and helicopters.
Padilla was found just before sundown on the shore near the site of the accident. A website has been launched to collect funds for a memorial service.
"Now we will be able to bring him home to his family in Honduras," Hinson said. "These funds will help pay for that service and for additional expenses of getting him back to his mother. Thank you all for the love and support."
Before his death, Padilla worked at Michelin star Restaurant Gary Danko near Fisherman's Wharf where he met Hinson, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
Officials have not yet publicly identified the body.
KCBS Radio has reached out to the Marin County Sheriff's Office regarding the death, but has not yet heard back.
