A southbound Caltrain struck and hit a person trespassing on the tracks in Mountain View on Monday night, as reported by Bay City News.

Just before 9 p.m. Monday night, a train hit a person that was on the tracks between San Antonio Station and Rengstorff Avenue, the news service reported.
The condition of the person struck has not yet been released.
After the strike the tracks were briefly closed and reopened by 10:15 p.m.
No one else was injured during the incident.
Caltrain did not respond to KCBS Radio's request for comment at the time of publication.
