Chick-Fil-A expanded in the Bay Area on Thursday with the opening of a pair of locations, one in Pittsburg and another in Daly City at Serramonte Center - its closest location to San Francisco yet.
The chain now has 21 locations around the Bay Area, but was rejected in Campbell and remains unlikely to open in San Francisco due to the city's rules around chain stores.
To commemorate the opening of the Daly City location, Chick-Fil-A is donating $25,000 to Feeding America, which will distribute the funds to partners in the Bay Area.
