A person died in a Cupertino house fire early Monday morning.
The Santa Clara County Fire Department responded to a call early in the morning to a residential fire on the 1000 block of Tuscany Pl. in Cupertino.
Firefighters found heavy smoke and fire on arrival.
According to firefighters, a victim was found inside the residence, deceased.
It’s still unclear how the fire started.
The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office has officials on the scene investigating the cause.
