For the second consecutive year, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, the annual free music festival that attracts tens of thousands to Golden Gate Park, will not hold an in-person event.
"After consultation with our team of COVID safety advisors, and in close communication with City Of San Francisco, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass has reached the difficult conclusion that we are not able to hold the festival in Golden Gate Park this year," the festival said in a statement.
In its place will be the "Come What May - Hardly Strictly Everywhere 2021" festival over three days from October 1 to 3.
That lineup will include Mavis Staples, The Tallest Man On Earth, Béla Fleck, Bob Mould with Fred Armisen and much more. Outside Lands is currently set to be held in Golden Gate Park with a sold out crowd from October 29 to 31.
