KCBS Radio Foodie Chap Interviews MeeSun Boice, Co-Owner Mersea of San Francisco

Mersea, located on Treasure Island between San Francisco and Oakland is a dining gem with Bay views and a coastal menu to die for.

“Come for the food and stay for the view” is the mantra echoed by Mersea Co-Owner, MeeSun Boice.

I stopped by the Treasure Island hit spot to sample their San Francisco Restaurant Week offerings;

STARTER: Spring Salad: Feta, almonds, champagne, apricot vinaigrette

MAIN COURSE: Roasted Gulf Shrimp Linguine cauliflower cream, chili-garlic crunch

This yummy combo is yours for $25 during San Francisco Restaurant Week from April 10th through 19th. On the Mersea menu there are two must have items always;

Fish and Chips. The fish is haddock and is fine and flaky wrapped in the perfect beer batter. No one does it betters.

Chef Parke’s Seafood Chowder. It’s creamy and lite at the same time. Simply put - yummy chowder perfection!

Come one come all and enjoy this special spot with more than a tasty, well priced menu but a knockout bar program to boot. You may also play bocce ball, tee up on the putting green or just kick back and enjoy the billion dóllar views from the Bay Bridge to the majestic Golden Gate. The warm, inviting staff and many residents of Treasure Island will ensure you feel at home here.
