
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – KCBS Radio has been nominated as a 2022 finalist for Legendary Station of the Year as part of the National Association of Broadcasters' Marconi Radio Awards.

The prestigious award recognizes "stations and individuals for their excellence and performance in radio."
The awards were established in 1989 and are named after Nobel Prize-winning inventor Guglielmo Marconi, who developed shortwave wireless communication and broadcast the first transatlantic radio signal in 1901.
Winners will be announced at the NAB Show in New York, N.Y. on Oct. 19.
KCBS Radio recently won three Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards from the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) for Overall Excellence, Feature Reporting and Sports Reporting. Those winning entries have advanced to a national competition.
