Hello from Golden Gate Park and Outside Lands, where it's three days of music, food and beverages. It's the biggest music event on the San Francisco calendar with SZA playing on Friday, Green Day playing on Saturday then on Sunday, Weezer and Post Malone close out the three-day festival. More than 90 Bay Area food vendors will be there to feed you. You can also explore beer lands, grass land, wine lands and enjoy the culinary fun on the Gastro Magic stage. Some single day passes are still available.

Do you need something fun to binge? Head to APPLE TV+. It's set in San Francisco. Here's the scoop: A traumatic head injury leaves Sophie with extreme memory loss. In her quest to put the pieces of her life back together — with help from her husband and friends — Sophie begins to question the truth behind her picture-perfect life. A great script and cast make this one to watch. Seeing our city shine as one of the stars is indeed a joyous thing.

The 48th Annual Nihonmachi Street Fair is an important comeback from a year of not being able to experience, embrace and enjoy the annual festivities. On Aug. 6-7, NSF will bring the Summer of Love back to Japantown and with that stellar performances and activities for everyone to enjoy. Live music at the Clear Channel Outdoor Summer of Love Stage! Doggie World will be back!

HOT DIGGITY DOG, Shuggie's 1st Annual Crawfish Boil is happening on Sunday Aug. 7! On the menu: big vats of crawdaddies, cold wine, DJ set, and good company in the toasty mission sun! Your ticket includes: All you can eat crawfish and all the trimmings! Oyster PoBoys, boudin and beignets! Additional drinks and shirts available for purchase. Bottle deals all afternoon on wine! It's one of the most popular series at Oracle Park. The San Francisco Giants take on the Oakland A's in the Bay Bridge series. Yes: The Orange and Black go head-to-head with the Green and Gold. May the best team win.

Take a trip to Southern France and Northern Italy by dining at Occitania in Oakland. The new kid on the block had a restaurant veteran at the helm, Chef Paul Canales. He draws inspiration from Occitania using the best of California produce. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the new Kissel Hotel in downtown Oakland. The high-end design is eye-popping, inviting and draws you in. The menu is stacked to the gills with yummy offerings. My faves: Duck liver pate, French onion soup, escargot, Tagliatelle with porcini and hen of the woods mushrooms. I'll have to return for the yummy-looking burger and the tempting desserts. The cocktails are knockout and the wine list expansive. Treat yourself to a visit here. You'll be jolly glad you did. Enjoy my conversation with a well travelled chef whose stories and years of experience show up on every single plate.

The V Foundation Wine Celebration is a world-class wine event and auction benefiting The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Since 1999, The V Foundation Wine Celebration — benefitting The V Foundation for Cancer Research — has raised over $118 million for cancer research and related programs. I'm thrilled to be on board as co-auctioneer for this awesome event for a most important cause this Saturday at Nickel & Nickel. Cheers to a cure!
