2nd recent victim pushed off New York subway platform, escapes with minor injuries

Just over a week after the tragic shoving and killing of a woman off a New York City subway platform, another person has also fallen victim to a subway shoving attack in the city, according to the New York City Police Department.

On Sunday morning, a 62-year-old man was shoved onto the tracks at Fulton Street station. He was approached from behind and pushed in front of an oncoming southbound train. Fortunately, the victim climbed up on to the platform and only suffered minor injuries.

The suspect fled the scene.

Michelle Go, 40, the victim of the previous attack, unfortunately died when shse was pushed off the platform at Times Square as a train was pulling into the station.

Police have since taken the perpetrator of Go's attack, Simon Martial, into custody.

Sunday's victim, who has not yet been identified, has been taken to the hospital to be treated for a leg injury.

The suspect has yet to be apprehended, and the investigation is ongoing.
