SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – Salinas police are continuing to search for a young woman who has been missing since last week.

Areli Garcia, 25, left her house in Salinas on Thursday and is believed to be in the Big Sur area, authorities said.
In an update on Monday, police said detectives still have not found Garcia and remain "hard at work" investigating.
