As the San Francisco 49ers prepare for their first full season with fans in attendance in nearly two years, officials say they are looking to hire several hundred people.
Levi’s Stadium and the 49ers are looking for any and all job applicants.
The jobs run the gamut from ticket vendors to security, and even some front office positions. Angie Nix, 49ers Director of Guest Services, told KCBS Radio that when people go to work on game-day, the stadium has something to offer for everyone "regardless of what your skills or interests are."
Not only do these jobs apply to a wide breadth of skills, but the 49ers will be hiring quickly. "Ultimately, I would love to be able to hire and onboard during the month of June so that July can be focused on training," Nix said.
Last year, COVID-19 sparked major lay-offs throughout the Bay Area job market. Now, Nix is looking forward to providing some relief for those who may need a boost.
"I’m excited to offer jobs to our community and to be able to find a way to help supplement some folks’ income," she said. "I just look forward to bringing the faithful back and having a good time with them."
Nix added that many of the 800 available jobs are part-time, but come with good pay.
