An unhoused man has been arrested for allegedly sexual assaulting two women in San Jose on Friday.
One of the victims took a photo of the suspect after the assault occurred and provided it to detectives. Patrol officers familiar with the area recognized the man as Dionte Foster, 39, a homeless man who is "known to frequent downtown San Jose," Sgt. Christian Camarillo said in a release.
Authorities located Foster in the area of South Fourth Street and San Carlos Street and took him into custody without incident. He was booked into Santa Clara County jail for multiple unspecified counts of sexual assault.
Camarillo said Foster had previously been arrested for a similar sexual assault allegation last July.
