Santa Clara County has been under the state's latest stay-at-home order for weeks, which made restaurants revert back to take-out & delivery only and closed personal care businesses such as salons. However, a salon in San Jose is refusing to comply with the order.

The same salon violated a health order over the summer to cease indoor service and continued to operate. Salon Blu & Brazilian Blowout Bar Owner James Griffiths says being fined costs less than being shutdown and noted that if the nearby liquor stores, Starbucks & Home Depot can remain open then he's not shutting down.

Police showed up to the salon on S. Market Street back in July in order to get them to comply with orders and Griffiths is aware that the he could receive more than a warning this time around.
