According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, the suspect is a white male in his late 40s or early 50s, standing 5' 8" tall, thin and balding with a beard. This sketch has been released to help identify the possible suspect.

The alleged abduction attempt occurred early March 7 when "an older black BMW, four-door sedan" with no front license plate made a U-turn at Piedmont Drive while heading south on Calistoga Road and pulled over to the curb, authorities said.
The victim told officers the suspect opened the front passenger door, threatened her and tried to force her into the vehicle, but she was able to fight him off.
The suspect was wearing a tan shirt, torn blue jeans and a gold hoop earring at the time of the incident. He was last seen driving northbound on Calistoga Road.
The girl was not hurt during the interaction.
A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered by the Sonoma County Alliance Community Engagement and Safety Rewards Fund. The reward is for information leading to the man's arrest.
Santa Rosa residents who live in the area are asked to check footage to see if they have captured any useful images or videos of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact 707-543-3595.
