A 40-year-old man has died in Santa Rosa police custody following an incident last week involving nine officers, all of which have since come off administrative leave as an investigation continues.
The suspect, identified as Jordan Pas of Santa Rosa, died after he was "tased" multiple times as he resisted arrest on Nov. 18, investigators said in a detailed news release on Wednesday.

The officers' experience ranges from just over a year to 21 years, authorities listed. They've been identified as Sgt. Matt Crosbie and officers Frank Sedeno, David Lamb, Nick Madarus, Joe Richards, Jonathan Morgan, Robert Moore, Bradley Marweg and Jerry Ellsworth.
"(The officers) were initially placed on administrative leave following the incident, but none of the officers are still on administrative leave," a Santa Rosa police spokesperson told KCBS Radio concerning a pending review of the incident and the status of the involved officers.
Sonoma County Sheriff's Office investigators confirmed the details of the incident – which started at 1:19 a.m. – in their initial investigation, authorities said. Officers were dispatched when callers reported "several gunshots being fired in the street" and someone walking around the neighborhood with a gun, police said.
He reportedly fired a rifle into a vehicle.
Just before 1:30 a.m., investigators said "officers found Pas at the west end of Peach Court shirtless, holding a large landscaping rock in his right hand." He was also "pacing back and forth and sweating profusely on a cold night."
Officers reported repeatedly asking Pas to drop the rock, threatening to "tase" him if he didn't do so, a release detailed. Officers then fired the taser, Pas dropped the rock and fell backwards onto his knees. Authorities said he again grabbed for the rock and "continued resisting by trying to get up" as they were approaching him, so "an officer tased Pas" a second time.
Officers said he tried to get up again.
After placing handcuffs on Pas, authorities said responding officers put Pas "on his left side in a recovery position to monitor his breathing," before noticing he "was not responsive to verbal or physical stimulus."
Suspecting he overdosed, police reported that an officer gave Pas one dose of Narcan in an effort to revive him. He was taken to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital at 2:17 a.m. where he was later pronounced dead.
The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation into the incident and Pas' death. Authorities are reviewing body camera footage, surveillance video and witness statements as part of their investigation.
The Santa Rosa Police Department is conducting a separate administrative review "to determine if officers followed policies during this incident."
