In an exciting transition, beauty company Sephora is moving its U.S. headquarters to one of San Francisco's most iconic buildings.
The billion dollar company signed San Francisco’s biggest office lease during the pandemic, subleasing 286,000 square feet of 350 Mission St., the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
Two existing offices at 435 Market St. and 525 Market St. will be consolidated into the lofty glass building known as Salesforce East that stands across the street from the Salesforce Tower.
"350 Mission is thoughtfully designed to support and enhance the future of work at Sephora, which puts a strong focus on our employee culture, collaboration and flexibility," Jeff Gaul, Sephora senior vice president of store development, said in a statement to the newspaper. "Most importantly, this move consolidates the number of buildings our corporate employees work in and supports our hybrid in-person and remote work practices while providing ample room for growth."
With the move, Sephora secures its position as a leading employer in the Bay Area. The company plans to move into the space as soon as 2023, the station said.
KCBS Radio has reached out to Sephora for comment, but has not yet heard back.
