San Francisco ranked 2nd best US city to celebrate 4th of July for 2021

After a year away, fireworks will return to San Francisco's waterfront this 4th of July, which is part of the reason personal finance website WalletHub named it the second-best place to celebrate Independence Day in 2021.

To determine the best places to celebrate the most star-spangled occasion, WalletHub compared the 100 largest U.S. cities based on how well they balance holiday cost and fun. The data set of 23 key metrics ranges from average beer and wine prices to duration of fireworks shows to the Fourth of July weather forecast.

26th – Lowest Price of Three-Star Hotel Room

1st – Prevalence of Affordable 4.5+ Star Restaurants

Only New York ranked higher than San Francisco overall while San Jose came in as the 21st best city to celebrate 4th of July.
