Barstool Sports started a fund to help out small businesses around the country amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Their latest recipient is the oldest restaurant in San Francisco and the oldest bar west of the Mississippi River: Tadich Grill.
Barstool President Dave Portnoy posted a video message with Jen (Buich) Whitaker, who's family owns the grill where he informed her that they'd be the latest to receive assistance from the Barstool Fund.
Tadich Grill only briefly reopened for pick-up and delivery orders over the summer and postponed their reopening in the fall after San Francisco didn't move forward with reopening indoor dining. Now, the establishment that's been around for more than 170 years is receiving $31,400 from the Barstool Fund.
You can contribute here and on the restaurant's GoFundMe to help them survive until indoor dining returns.
So far, the Barstool Fund has raised more than $19 million for more than 80 small businesses around the country.
