Officials have identified the two people who died on Thursday after their car was submerged in water underneath a Millbrae overpass.

The two drowning victims were identified as Rolando Ortigas Glorioso, 63, and Susana Glorioso, 62, both of Millbrae, according to the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office. They were married.
Firefighters responded at 5:58 a.m. on December 23 to reports of massive flooding at Hemlock Ave. and E. Hillcrest Blvd. to an area of the road underneath Caltrain tracks. After two people were saved who were standing on their car, a second vehicle in the water was spotted but conditions became "too dangerous" for first responders to immediately attempt to rescue them.
Once the water drained enough for officers to safely access the vehicle, they found the two deceased victims inside.
KTVU reported the two people lived in the area, "not far from where the incident occurred."
No other information has been released.
