While there were no injuries, the damage is significant at 3881 Pacific Heights Drive in San Bruno.

It was late Saturday night when the tree toppled over amidst the latest in a spate of storms in the Bay Area.

"We just noticed it yesterday when we got out into our yard, and our neighbors text us saying 'you know, the tree was down,'" said Minnie Boldt, whose neighbor suffered the damage to their home.

"Everybody was contacted and now they're dealing with it," she said.

Crews weren't able to start disassembling the fallen tree until Monday, cutting it apart piece by piece and hauling it away.

The tree also crushed a Honda Hybrid SUV parked in the driveway as well as the house.

A city building inspector estimates the tree was between 60 and 80 feet tall.

The battered house has been yellow-tagged by the city, but the residents are able to come home as the rest of the house is reportedly safe for occupancy. They are staying with friends in the meantime.
