The Bay Area has over 20 festive pop-up and year-round ice skating rinks to bring winter fun this holiday season. From dazzling performances to cozy fire pits, there’s something for everyone—so lace up your skates and let’s hit the ice!

Gala in the Stars

Kick off your holiday weekend with a little glamour! Gala in the Stars, hosted by the Silicon Valley Ice Skating Association, happens this Friday night and is a can’t-miss event. You’ll be dazzled by performances from Bay Area skating legends, all while supporting a great cause—proceeds help keep ice skating alive in the region.

Downtown Ice – San Jose

At the heart of San Jose, Downtown Ice is open now through January at the beautiful Circle of Palms Plaza. A South Bay tradition, it’s the perfect way to get in the holiday spirit with friends and family under twinkling lights.

Kristi Yamaguchi’s Holiday Ice Rink – San Ramon
